What Is Solvent Extraction?

The extraction of the leachate is the process of separating the valuable main metals from the impurities in the solution and removing the harmful impurities in the leachate.

During the leaching process of ore or concentrate, when useful valuable metals are transferred from raw materials to the solution, certain impurities will also enter the solution. In order to facilitate the extraction of valuable host metals by precipitation, certain impurities must be removed before precipitation to obtain a solution as pure as possible.

The extraction of leachate is relative. The impurity metals separated by extraction are often important raw materials to be recovered as valuable semi-products. The usual extraction method is extraction.

As an important unit process in the separation and extraction process of non-ferrous metals copper, nickel, cobalt, rare metals tantalum, niobium, tungsten, molybdenum, vanadium, scattered metal indium and rare earth metals, solvent extraction also plays an important role in the final production efficiency and product quality.
